A wide variety of rare and minority breed livestock can be found at Doonies.

Sheep

We have approximately 120 sheep on the farm from the following breeds:

• Southdown
• Whitefaced Woodland
• Norfolk Horn
• Hebridean
• Wensleydale
• Kerry Hill
• Portland Down
• Castlemilk Moorit.

Cattle

Doonies has 60 cattle representing the following breeds:

• White Park
• British Shorthorn
• Gloucester
• Highland

Goats

• We have 2 golden guernsey goats at Doonies.

Horses and Ponies

• Four  Eriskay ponies - two mare, stallion and our filly foal, Spirit of Doonies.
• 3 Clydesdale horses.

Pigs

5 pigs are resident at Doonies:

• One Large Black sow
• Two Tamworth pigs
• Four Large Black x Tamworth youngersters

Poultry

We have a few birds on the farm, but as with our pigs, new breeding stock will be added once we have a more settled future.
